I love this..it reminds me to see the beauty in every little thing...and to make the most of every little moment!

Gosh I can get so caught up in all the ugliness in life...worrying about the things I don't want to do, the people who are making my life hell, the things that happen to me, that stupid thing I said today...blah blah blah...how did I get into this effing situation, this downward spiral...I used to be the positive one?!
These are all just negative thoughts and energy sappers! I don't need it!
So I had to remind myself to consciously focus on finding the beauty in all of those little (and big) things...and just when it feels like there's no point... something happens and the positivity shines! Like a certain situation that bubbled and brewed for many months last year, it blew up in a massive way, it died down but has been simmering in the background since the blaze...
So everyday I wake up and count all the beautiful things in my life and not all the shit things that might happen today... having that list in my mind before you get out of bed makes such a difference to my day...I just got on with making my life happen, not letting it happen, not letting people or events control my thoughts, feelings and behaviors. It was time to reclaim MY life... (I've made a few exciting decisions along the way which I will blog about very soon)
As we grow older we worry and stress about things, that in our youth we'd just brush of and get on with it...so like the beautiful image says...we are young, we have the power to make life beautiful and the more beautiful things we count the more beautiful things there are to count.
Happy Days..

Thoughts along these lines are what made me start taking time every week to recognize the happy moments and positive things in my life. It's so easy to be ruled by negativity, but the fact is, we're only alive for a limited amount of time. Why not make the most of that time? :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you started a blog to celebrate happiness. :)
Absolutely, life is a gift and a privilege to be a part of, I feel it's our duty to enjoy, learn and grow everyday! I'm glad you've recognized to let the negativity go and live it!
ReplyDeleteHealth and happiness :)
