So as you know I've become obsessed with red lipstick, and as blogged before, I seem to be getting much more attention since I started wearing it, from men and woman alike... Thursday Nat and I (both wearing our new Chanel lippy) were getting lunch at our usual, when we were pleasantly surprised when our normally slow, mute, no eye contact sandwich guy, made eye contact, smiled and even recommended the quiche! Could this be because of our beautiful lipstick????
Then Good Friday I met friends for a picnic in the Mountains and my friend Darren said that I looked ripe and ready for the taking... and he's a Gay man...and yesterday I braved the Easter trade at the plaza and I swear people were taking double looks as they walked past me, now I'm kinda used to this being a 6' tall blond, however it wasn't the normal, stare look down at my feet then back to my face in surprise that I'm not wearing 6 inch stilettos! Or is it because I'm just holding myself better because of the way my lipstick makes me feel, either it's a wondrous thing!
